ID Scanner reads the PDF417 barcode on the back of a US or Canadian driver's licence or ID card, entirely on the phone. It checks the age limit you set and the expiry date, and shows one of three results: PASS, CHECK or DENY. Scanning works without an internet connection.
- Nothing personal is kept. The name and date of birth are shown only while the result is on screen. No name, birth date, ID number, address or photo is saved, on the phone or anywhere else.
- Recognise returning guests without keeping who they are. Mark someone VIP or banned; the app knows them next time from a key that cannot be turned back into a person.
- Tonight. Entries, denials by reason, busiest hours, age ranges, issuing states. Export as PDF or CSV.
- Team (optional). Several door phones share the list, count who is inside, and warn when someone who just came in at another door shows up again.
